WILLEM VON UYTRECHT

This is the grave of Willem van Uytrecht, former plantation owner. He was known as a strict plantation owner, but out of wedlock he handled children with enslaved women. Contrary to the usual, Van Uytrecht decided that his bastard children would also own pieces of land after his death and thus gave his bastard children as much land as his recognized children.
